What makes Hamilton Tech’s programs so unique?
Hamilton Tech offers career-oriented education. What does that mean? It means that Hamilton Tech’s programs are designed with input from industry employers and updated regularly to make sure we are offering cutting edge programs. Our programs combine current theory and practical knowledge in a “hands-on” environment so graduates are ready to make a contribution in the workforce from their first day on the job. Many classes involve working in labs to get the experience needed to fully understand the concepts being taught.
Additionally, classes at Hamilton Tech are designed so students receive individual attention from our faculty who take special care to keep students on course for graduation.
What is career education?
Throughout the country, there is a growing trend of specialization in the workplace and the percentage of skilled jobs continues to steadily increase. Interestingly enough, many of these positions do not require four-year degrees. As a result, there are a vast number of opportunities available for graduates of specialized career institutions.
Employers expect their need for workers with vocational credentials to increase in the upcoming years. Our goal is to provide valuable education and experience to students, making them competitive forces in the workplace.
To prepare students for this future, we:
- Provide an up-to-date curriculum that reflects the current needs of the real world.
- Maintain close relationships with local employers, who know the quality of our graduates and seek their skills for employment.
- Schedule classes to meet the needs of working adults, with courses available during the day and evening.
Our career training is provided by instructors who have taught at Hamilton Tech an average of twelve years, many of whom have considerably more experience.
Career training offers the skill set, education and guidance to individuals who want to be successful in a demanding and ever-changing workplace. With more people graduating from high school each year, career schools perform a vital service to students as well as employers by educating and preparing candidates for existing job opportunities.
We focus on training students for specific careers and have dedicated career services staff to assist in placing those students in positions after graduation. Though we cannot guarantee each student employment, Hamilton Tech maintains a high percentage of employed graduates.
